Size: 5 x 7 inches, Matted to 11 x 14 inches
Artist: Franz Von Stuck
About the poster: Reprinted for a 1920s book, this German woodblock engraving was originally one of the covers of the German journal Pan. Pan was critical about the artistic policy of the German Empire under Wilhelm. The journal attempted to present the very best of contemporary art, without showing preference for any particular school or movement, in order to allow comparison with classical art.
This vintage print has been beautifully matted and is ready to hang. It measures 11 x 14 inches matted. While the bulk of our poster collection consists of full size posters, we consider such smaller, more affordable gems to be worthy of collection as well. We think this piece would look great in an office, a livingroom, country home, or any space in which a small dash of retro style is desired. They are affordable, sweet, vintage ...
