About The Poster: This poster, designed by Herbert Leupin, was created for Knie - the Swiss National Circus. With bright bold colors, Leupin has playfully rendered a clown balancing the word "Knie" on his knee.

HERBERT LEUPIN (1916 –1999) was a pioneering Swiss graphic and advertising designer. Leupin designed hundred of posters for consumer goods, including the soda Pepita, sliced meats from Grossmetzgerei Bell, and Roth-Händle cigarettes. He helped these and many other companies develop their brand identities by striking a balance between artistry and publicity — successfully bridging the increasingly wide divide between art, graphic design, and advertising.

Leupin's posters are highly collectable and form the foundation for many museum collections in Switzerland and elsewhere.

This poster is linen backed and in excellent condition. Perfect and colourful design for a nursery or child's bedroom!
