Artist: Pablo Picasso
Picasso, who's full name was Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso, is considered by many to be one of the most significant artists of the 20th century. Hired by the French Tourist Board to create a poster for the Cote D'Azur, Picasso used his immense skill and a varied color palette to evoke the salt air, the wondrous landscape and the sheer exuberance of a place he loved deeply.
