Artist: Thomas, Steve
We found Steve Thomas in cyberspace - a place he evidently knows very well - and loved his posters so much that we asked him if we could sell them, and voila! The perfect partnership. Originally born in Ontario, he now operates out of the U.S. as a freelance illustrator who happens to have a love for vintage poster, propaganda and product art from the early 20th century and an interest in retro-futuristic art.
This particular poster advertises Uranus as being a rest area and refueling station, perfect for all those space travelers out there! Georgium Sidus (after England's King George III) was the planet's original name, but it was changed to Uranus to fit in with the other planets which were named after mythological characters.
