This poster is for a UCLA student film festival, presented by John Quinn, which took place in February of 1976 at the SUB Theatre. Inaugurated in 1967, the SUB Theatre was the University of Alberta Student Union's 720 seat concert hall, designed by theatre designer James Hull Miller. Its name was changed to the Myer Horowitz Theatre in 1989, in honour of the University's outgoing president Dr. Meyer Horowitz.
While we're not sure who the figure on the poster is meant to be, we do know that he would look beautiful framed! The monochromatic cream-and-black palette could fit into any space!
The poster is in overall good condition, with pinholes and slight tape marks in its corners.
