About The Poster: An American decorator sheet from 1928, created by the French artist André Durenceau.
This pochoir (a French variation of a hand-coloured stencil) would have been used by designers to show clients and collectors patterns for wall-paper, fabric or tapestries. Its excellent colour and fabulous detail make it a unique vintage piece, perfect for any design lover.
The pochoir is ripped at the top corners, as well as at the bottom left corner. It also has some discolouring along the edges.
Printed by Birnbaum-Jackson Co., Philadelphia.
