About these posters: This lovely pair of posters, by Hans Unger, feature the architecture of Christopher Wren. Wren (1632-1723) was a British architect known for his baroque style and his efforts in rebuilding 52 churches in London after the great fire in 1666. These mid-century style posters feature the spires of St Bride's Cathedral, and St Martin, Ludgate.
About the Artist: Hans Unger (1915-1975) was a German-born poster artist, mosaicist and painter. He was one of the most renowned post-war poster artists in England, and produced over 100 posters for the London Transport association. Unger's designs were known for his use of paint texture, bold colors, and humor.
