L’Affichiste specializes in vintage posters, prints and pochoirs from the Belle Epoque through art deco periods. SItuated in a Victorian bank building in Montreal's Quartier des Antiquaires (Antiques District) at the corner of Notre Dame and des Seigneurs Streets, the gallery is graced with 12 foot high ceilings, large shuttered windows and abundant natural light.

With a collection focused largely on posters, prints and pochoirs produced during the Art Nouveau - Art Deco periods, L'Affichiste is both a cyber-destination (we regularly ship all over the world), as well as a much loved meeting place for collectors, first-timers, and those who wish to learn about vintage posters.

Karen Etingin, the owner of L'Affichiste, has been collecting posters for over 25 years, and is passionate about them: she has spent years researching the history of posters and poster artists, and has worked with institutions, museums, dealers and collectors all over the world. The L'Affichiste collection bears witness to her love of posters and her desire to share this passion: the gallery is a warm, welcoming space where visitors are greeted with hot coffee (or sometimes a glass of wine), a smile, and a staff ready to share their knowledge and love for posters with you.
