1845 The Choor Mountain - George Francis White
About the poster: The height of the magnificent Choor Mountain is ascertained to be twelve thousand one hundred and forty-nine feet above the level of the sea, being the most considerable of the range south of the Himalaya, between the Sutlej and Jumna rivers.
George Francis White was an accomplished amateur artist, and some of his drawings were worked up into finished watercolours by professional artists for publication in engraved form.
Two of these beautiful lithographs are available. One is matted in light beige, and the other is matted in light green, they are both ready to be frame.
