About the magazine : I Grandi Fotografi is a short publication from Milan about 20 pages, showcasing the work of the greatest photographers of our time. Written in italian, this photolithographies book presents their work beautifully across double-page print. Edited by Corriere della Sera (Milano) in 2006, this photobook is part of a serie of 12 limited edition photolithography books.
About the artist : Born in Germany as Horst Paul Albert Bohrmann, Horst studied design and carpentry under the tuition of Walter Gropius, founder of the Bauhaus School, before moving to Paris to work as an apprentice to architect Le Corbusier. In Paris, he met George Hoyningen-Huene, star photographer at French Vogue. Huene became Horst's mentor, inviting him into the creative world of 1930s Paris.
