About the poster: Paraboot is a French footwear brand founded in 1908 by Rémy Richard-Ponvert in Izeaux, near Grenoble. Originally specializing in work shoes, the company distinguished itself in the 1920s by importing rubber from the Amazon (via the port of Para, which inspired the name "Paraboot") to create durable rubber soles—a revolutionary alternative to leather. By combining traditional leather craftsmanship with this innovation, Paraboot developed sturdy, weather-resistant shoes that appealed to workers, mountaineers, and later, style-conscious urban customers. Today, Paraboot remains renowned for its handmade production in France, authentic Goodyear and Norwegian welt constructions, and timeless models such as the Michael, Chambord, and Avignon, which embody both rugged utility and understated elegance.

The poster has creases, small hole and black stain on middle left edge, stains and folds a bit everywhere. Please see pictures. Ready to frame !
