About The Poster:  The history of World's Fairs is directly linked to the major developments in industry, technology, arts and design since the mid 19th century. Before the era of mass media communication, World's Fairs were the foremost method of international  information-sharing regarding the advancements of society in industry, science and the arts.

Belgian 1958 World's Fair Trivia: Expo 58 was the eleventh world's fair hosted by Belgium, and the fifth in Brussels. Nearly 15,000 workers spent three years building the 2 km2 (490 acres) site where many of the buildings were re-used from the 1935 World's Fair (which had been held on the same fairgrounds).

The exhibition attracted 41.5 million visitors, making Expo 58 the second largest World's Fair after the 1900 Exposition Universelle et Internationale de Paris, which had attracted 48 million visitors.

Poster is in very good condition, recently linen-backed and ready to frame.
