This colourful poster depicting an athlete preparing to throw the discus was created for the Summer games held in Barcelona. 1992 was the last time both the Summer and Winter Olympic games took place in the same year - the Olympic committee having chosen to proceed with alternating years in the future. Some highlights from these games included a recently unified German team, the entry of South Africa, the decision to admit players from the NBA, and the introduction of taekwondo.
This poster has some creasing, a small hole in the right margin and dirt on reverse. It is otherwise in very good condition and ready to be framed -a beautiful addition to any sports fan's home.
