About the Poster: This poster was created for the screening of The General at the Festival de cinéma des 3 Amériques (3 Americas Film Festival) in Québec City, organized by Antitube in 2005. The artist is unknown, but the poster was designed by someone at the graphic design firm Safran, also in Québec City.
About the Movie: The General is a silent film starring Buster Keaton, produced by United Artists in 1927. Keaton plays Johnny Gray, a southern railroad engineer. Set during the Civil War, based on a true story about the Great Locomotive Chase.
