This lithograph is representing a woman lifestyle behind closed doors, in her boudoir, which was a woman private space in her house back in the 19th century. The boudoir according to the Cambridge Dictionary is defined as "a beautifully decorated room used in the past by a woman for sleeping, dressing, relaxing and entertaining for a close circle of female friends."
