Eduardo García Benito (1891 - 1981) was a Spanish artist known for his fashion illustrations of the 1920's and 30's. His work appeared prominently in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Le Gazette de bon temps. He was also the illustrator of Jean Cocteau's book Dans le ciel de la patrie (1918).
This illustration was done for Les feuillets d'art ("Art Sheets"), a French magazine which ran from 1919 to 1922 and generally featured content about literature, theatre, visual arts, music, and fashion.
