The 1930s and 1940s are known as the Golden Age of Radios, when people averaged more than four hours a day listening to radio broadcasts. In North America and much of Europe, it was also the period of the Great Depression when money was tight and few could afford to put food on the table, much less such luxuries as going to the movies or seeing a live show. Radios became a main source of entertainment for some, being able to provide everything from sermons to soap operas, live readings and music programmes.
This vintage lithographic poster highlights the technologies and quality in every LMT radio by showing the men who build the machines and the building in which the machines are built. Both look pretty impressive to us!
A fantastic addition to any collection, this poster would look fantastic in any kitchen, office, man cave or living room!
