About the Poster: This poster is a World War II-era U.S. Army Air Forces flight-safety poster, produced under the Directorate of Flying Safety. It used cartoon humor and rhyme to warn pilots about the dangers of attempting an outside loop, which could cause the aircraft to crumple a wing and lead to a crash.
