About The Poster: A fabulous travel poster advertising travel to France, and highlighting some of the regions - Languedoc, the Mediterranean and Sete - for which the country is best known.
The 1960s were the period of Post-war France, when the country was booming with a newfound sense of optimism and energy. It was the time of New Wave cinema, existentialism, Yé-Yé music, and streets filled with youth. One can almost feel the vibrancy and joie de vivre in this poster with its flags, sailors and tourists.
The poster has ruffles and small tears on the edges and a rip on the bottom. Please see pictures. Ready to frame!
