This oversized movie poster was created for the French release of the Spanish movie called "La carga de la policia Montada," it's English title being "Cavalry Charge."

From what I could cobble together from various sources, the story goes like this: Fort Campbell in the wilds of Canada is occupied by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police under the orders of Commander John Bedford (Alan Scott). His beautiful fiancée Valerie Jackson (Maria Silva) attracts the attention of young corporal (and womanizer) Paul White (Frank Latimore) when he helps the lovely young lady out of trouble. Here begins a rivalry between the two men. Meanwhile, the "Red Beaver" Indians - led by a fearsome chief - attacks the Canadian regiment when they discover a group of poachers have assaulted a young warrior's sister (Diana Lorys). According to Simon Gelten, "The romantic subplot is quite nice: we get two men competing for the hand of the same woman, and two women competing for the hand of the same man. If you want to know how this awkward situation is solved, you'll have to watch to movie!"

Recently linen backed, we think this baby would look great in a home theater or projection room!
