Alexandre Delay is a Swiss/French painter, teacher and author. He studied at the School of Art in Lausanne (1959-1965) where he later taught from 1966 to 1971. He also taught at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux from 1974 to 1992 and at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon from 1992 to 1997.
