Roger Chapelain-Midy (1904-1992) was a French painter and theater designer. He trained at L'École de Beaux-Arts, atelier Corman, and the Academie de Montparnasse. Exhibiting his works across France, Europe, and North America, Chapelain-Midy was a talented artist and designer, also decorating numerous buildings around Paris, such as the 4th arrondissement town Hall and the Natural History Museum, and later designing sets and costumes for L'Opera de Paris.
