Alberto Bali was born in Rosario, Argentina in 1944. He completed his secondary studies at the National College of Buenos Aires and studied architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. He lived in Europe where he began to paint in 1971. After living in London for 6 years, he moved to Paris. In 2005 he was named a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government.
Bali has taken part in too many solos and group shows to count, and currently has an active career creating interior design and private commissions for individual clients and restaurants. His work is hard to find, highly collectible, and intensely graphic. Unlined and from a private collection.
